Resumen

The cinema that claims to be based on Homer’s Iliad has always been nourished by other sources to complete the story of the Trojan War, transforming the Homeric epic into something more far-reaching, ranging from the germ of conflict to its resolution with the stratagem of the wooden horse, using for it other sources, after Homer, but based in the same tradition. The purpose of this paper is to unravel which are prehomeric episodes and which were the sources used by these films in those episodes
