Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe and analyze work training offered from 2002 to 2007 to female inmates of the prisons in the Andean Region of Venezuela. Results of a quantitative research study based on the data gathered from interviews applied to female inmates are shown. A stratified sampling of prisons was made. Likewise, descriptive information of each variable and multiple correspondence analysis are provided to determine which variables influence inmates in attending education activities. Relevant conclusions are included.
