Zusammenfassung
Ore phases linked to hydrothermal processes were detected in La Gomera (Islas Canarias). Pyrite-pyrrhotite and magnetite-ilmenite associations in Tamargada's alkaline rocks are studied and used as geothermometric indicators. The former pair suggests a stability about 650-700°C for primary and idiomorphic types, and less than 500°C for secundary allotriomorphic ones, formed by hydrothermal metamorphism. Magnetite-ilmenite pairs, point out an interval about 700-790°C that would come up to the magmatic crystallization temperature.
