Abstract

The main objective of this work is the catalogue of the Bibles or other books related to it printed between the 16th and 18th Centuries, that are in the library of the Canarian Museum. This Catalogue is preceded by a preliminary study that aims to contextualize these works, providing data on the reception of the bible in the Canary Islands at that time, the holders of them and the characteristics of the books that are preserved.
