Resumo
The El Llanillo (Arguineguín) archaeological site is located on an alluvial fan probably made during the Pleistocene-Holocene transition or in the Lower Holocene. It real climatic conditions can be defined as arid, with a rainfall mean a year below 100 mm and an ETP (calculated following the Thornthwaite method) of 1,234 mm.year-1. The presence of this habitat in an area lack of freshwater resources raises the discussion about the existence of a small ravine supplying enough water of the reduced community perhaps linked to the surveillance of the close necropolis.
