Acercamiento metodológico a la opinión de profesionales de la psicología sobre inteligencia emocional

This study is intended as an approach to the point of view of psychology professionals about emotional intelligence. The rise of research and publications on the topic at hand, in recent years, has led that the concept transcends academia world. It is essential to know the degree of professional training to improve it if necessary. With the ultimate goal of that research and interventions are designed and implemented with rigor. To further the professional opinion about emotional intelligence, a questionnaire was developed which includes aspects such as the origin, the components of the construct and the relations with success in studies, work and life. All these aspects seem, according to the literature, relate to emotional intelligence. We present here the results obtained in this work.
