Abstract

The intention is to determine in our environment the normal values of blood serum lipids and their fractions in infants between 1 and 24 months of age, relating them to the intake of total fat and dairy fat, as well as to the relatives dislipemiae and athetoaclerosis. Therefore 133 normal infants are chosen, where the following analytical data are determined: total lipids, triglycerides, total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol. A dietetic quest is made amongst the relatives and the antecedents of dislipemia, ACV, infarct and/or atherosclerosis are investigated.
