Abstract
In order to facilitate and improve the learning of Arabic vocabulary at a basic level (i.e., an average of two hundred words), this paper presents an interactive Arabic vocabulary proposal (kalam). Each of the selected words has been linked to an audio-visual referent, and a diversity of interactive exercises has been created to further furnish the learning process. Such exercises enhance the learners’ comprehension skills by means of feedback. This paper describes the interactive method and the materials used, which have been implemented over the previous academic years. The results obtained are also offered.
