Résumé

The definition and classification of competences in the European Space for Higher Education is based on the Tuning project. This project includes, as a generic competence, the ability to generate new ideas (creativity) and in Spanish universities is listed in the White Papers of Engineering Degrees. The importance of creativity in engineering education is an increasingly important aspect in many countries although not yet a widespread approach. During 2013 2014 course, at the University of La Laguna, a creative workshop called Stella 3D has been tested with engineers. This workshop is based in the paintings of Frank Stella and uses the SketchUp software for it resolution. In this article it is detailed a new experiment conducted during 2014 2015 using the same workshop (Stella 3D), but adding the possibility that students solve the exercises on a digital tablet using Autodesk Formit.
