Abstract

Case report: 13 year old male diagnosed with Noonan syndrome (NS) was referred to our department with headache. The eye examination shows bilateral papilledema. MRI showed the existence of an intracranial neoplasm in the posterior fossa. The histopathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of ependymoma. Discussion: Among the pathology associated with NS tumor are described myeloproliferative syndromes, giant cell tumor of the maxilla and mandible, and rhabdomyosarcoma. In the literature we have not found described the association of both disorders, so in our case it could be a variant of the NS or a casual presentation.
