Resumen

Se constata en la literatura y en las estadísticas que el comercio electrónico está en crecimiento en todos los sectores, incluido el sector turístico. También se evidencia que son los jóvenes el segmento que está más abierto al uso del comercio online. Por otra parte, conseguir la lealtad en e-commerce es un objetivo estratégico en turismo, debido los beneficios que aporta, a la competencia de los mercados y a las crecientes exigencias de los turistas. En este artículo se hace una revisión de la literatura sobre el comercio electrónico en turismo, y se lleva a cabo una investigación acerca del uso del comercio online en turismo por parte de los jóvenes. Los resultados demuestran que el segmento estudiado valora y utiliza el comercio electrónico, que es posible predecir la satisfacción y la lealtad, y que existen ciertas diferencias entre los hombres y las mujeres.
