Abstract
19Revista de Educación y Desarrollo, 52. Enero-marzo de 2020.Students with high capacities demand educational responses both inside and outside of the classroom. It isessential to offer these students the support that they need, the strategies used vary depending on the educationsystem, families, laws or countries. However, most of the students do not receive an adequate educational res-ponse that is why, that parents are forced to resort to other alternatives, such as after-school programs. Parentsare an important part since they are the first to detect the characteristics of their sons and daughters. In the pre-sent investigation, the answers of the parents about the educational response they have received are presented,and his assessment of the after-school programs his children attend.
