Abstract

The present study seeks to create and evaluate an intervention program to improve tolerance to frustration in gifted children participating in the Programa de Intervención Para Altas Capacidades, with a total of 9 members. A total of 10 indicators are created and categorized into three different groups for the observation of frustration behaviours. The intervention was performed in a total of 4 sessions, with one activity per session wich was also divided into three phases characterized by their dynamism and challenge. The results indicate that no significant changes are found in the participants at the end of the intervention. An individual analysis of the progress concluded that the participants, in frustrating situations, tend to conduct behaviours directed to the others instead of performing appropriately to their own responsibility according to the situation.
