Résumé

This work presents the results of the project of teaching innovation in the subject Planning and Territorial Management of Tourist Destinations of the Degree of Tourism at the University of La Laguna (Tenerife). The aim is that the students acquire practical knowledge of the subject through the geoturism in Canarian global UNESCO geoparks. The methodology used is a file were selected the geosites and their resources, touristic places, touristic potential and geotourist products. We have selected 77 terrestial geosites located in the El Hierro (28) and the Lanzarote (49) geoparks. These geosites show the diversity resources, of touristic places and they have a great offer associate with geotourism. The students said the teaching materials are positive in their educational process.
