Abstract

In this work we want to enhance geomorphological heritage and volcanic tourism through the concept of geomorphosite in Las Cañadas del Teide National Park. To do this, a proposal of 23 LIGm within the limits of the national park, and with public access, are grouped in 4 geomorphological units (Teide-Pico Viejo, Las Cañadas Caldera, Las Cañadas Atrium and recent volcanoes fields). When correlating each identified geomorphosite with its geotouristic potential, it is observed what type of attractions of volcanic tourism have. In all of them the stage will be highlighted: the beauty of the eruptive landscapes as emblematic places, their enjoyment, their contemplation, the taking of photographs, the magic of the processes that generated them, their monumentality and their colors.
