Abstract
Diagnosis and instruction of previous standards in orientation and mobility for the visually impaired at preschool age O & M previous standards can be justifiably included in early childhood and preschool curricula since they are integral part of the necessary intructional contents within those áreas, aimed at becoming part of the blind and visually impaired child's behaviours. For this a multidisciplinary approach is suggested, with the cooperation of expert teachers for the visually impaired, O & M instructors and the child's parents. Basic components of these programs are sensorial, conceptual, motor and O & M development. A guide is included for the development of O & M related abilities.
