Abstract

This paper examines the experience an educational innovation project that brings new strategies for the integration of BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology into the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) sector from University. The main purpose of the quantitative research carried out is to measure the opinion of the participants about the BIM training and about the impact of the actions promoted by the aforementioned project. To operationalize the concept, a survey is carried out, from which findings are obtained such as that half of the sample considers that the greatest motivation to train in BIM is the enhancement of their employability. In addition, from the analysis and critical reflection of the results, it is concluded that increasing the offer of training actions in BIM from the University is one of the most effective ways to extend the implementation of BIM in Spain, in the current situation
