Abstract

The Dynamic Geometry Systems (DGS), in particular GeoGebra, are considered as one of the most useful technological tools for the teaching and learning processes of Mathematics, and more importantly, in high education. Obviously, the traditional mathematics curriculum must be rethought in terms of the potentialities and restrictions that arise from the use of such tools, as well as the type of activities or tasks that are proposed. In this paper we address the resolution of a problem by using a reference frame that is based on the use of episodes (Santos Trigo & Camacho Machín, 2013) that promote the use of technology. In some cases, the reconstruction of the figure that is presented in the statement itself leads to endowing the proposed problem with a wide repertoire of mathematical elements that were not considered in its a priori approach.
