Resum

The aim of the study is to describe and analyze how eleven teachers, five in compulsorysecondary education and six in primary education, used geometric and didactic knowledge,and what the difficulties they found were when they analysed the following three learning units: angles, measurement of angles and rotations .. from the Van Hiele perspective, as a curricular subject for their students and when they were used in the classroom with their students. Thestudy allows one to determine aspects of the epistemology of the teachers in terms of geometricand didactic competences, and provides data that help to understand the difficulties faced byteachers in implementing a geometry curriculum based on the Van Hiele theory.
