Abstract

The “House of the Bronce Head” is a domus located in Sa Portella, one of the residential areas of the Roman City of Pollentia. It has several issues regarding its interpretation, mainly because of the partial knowledge that exists of its architectural plant. In consequence with other houses of the same residential area, which are defined by symmetry, this house allows the hypothesis of several features regarding its circulation and distribution spaces, specifically those of its peristyle and accesses. It establishes the need to search for parallels in North África that can clarify how this building articulates and which are its different functions.
