Abstract
A review of botanical studies carried out in El Hierro island is presented. These studies are framed in different branches of knowledge (flora, ethnobotany, biogeography, vegetation, evolution, etc.), intimately connected to each other. Throughout this journey, for each of these branches I present the results of my humble contributions, the result of an uninterrupted study of the botan y of this island for more than 15 years.
