Résumé

From the OECD recommendations are given for the improvement of the educationsystem. An important part of them concern modifications in the teaching staff. The Spanisheducational policy has echoed some of them in the form of proposals such as those includedin the ‘White Book of the Teaching Profession’. Here, the sense followed about the directionof centers, the interest of teachers, the training and the assignment of teachers to schools isanalyzed. Starting from the hypothesis that plausible measures are: a directive leadership thatgrants incentives to teachers more involved in projects with a clear educational purpose in endingsocial inequality in education, an educational policy that rewards the interest of teachers, andthat designs a adequate training in the proposed objective by encouraging the social interest infront of the union, a way of assigning teachers to the centers not by points and proximity, but byrationalization policy according to the need of the centers. We intend to unravel if these objectivesare the ones that govern the current educational policies.
