In this work, the implementation of a laboratory practice corresponding to the synthesis and analysis of various composite materials is presented. It is oriented to students of the Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in order to learn correctly the synthesis and characterization of composite materials made from carbon fibers, glass fibers, fabric and / or sheets from banana plants, and epoxy and polyester resins. After the completion of the practice the students will understand the importance and interest that currently has the design and manufacturing of composite materials from a technological point of view.
