Abstract

During the last decades, the Archeological Heritage has been incorporated, gradually, to the offer of cultural tourism in many destinations with these kinds of resources. In the Canary Islands this process has not been considered within the touristic policies, but in the island of Gran Canary the Archeological Heritage has taken on with major importance in the last years. In consequence, we will make an approximation by studying the cultural products included in the so called "Red de Espacios Arqueológicos de Gran Canaria", which concludes that regular follow up and assessment of the management in these products are needed.
