Resumen
This document explores the loyalty of the young residents in an island destination and in a context of domestic tourism. The interest in the study of the loyalty of young residents is due to the growth of tourism, in part motivated by the economic crisis, as well as to the potential of consumption and influence of young people and to the economic and commercial benefits that loyalty brings to the tourism enterprises. On the other hand, the importance of the study of the island destinations is because these destinations suffer the negative conecuencias of tourism more than other destinations, impacting negatively on loyalty. This work focuses on the role of the company, place and young resident in the formation of their loyalty. The results show that it is possible to generate an integrated causal model by which it is possible to explain the formation of loyalty from the variables included in this study. Descriptive analysis leads to the conclusion that the segment values all the variables included in the work, while discriminant analysis shows that there are not significant differences in the perceptions of young residents on the basis of sex, the island of residence or the number of trips made in the destination itself there are no.
