Zusammenfassung
The images of the coast of Tenerife, before and immediately after the royal conquest, had a special impact on the south of the Island. One exarnple of this is the Virgen de la Luz, probably the oldest Christian image preserved on the Island. An important part of its history is still unknown. We are revealing now a document with the aim to shed more light on the history ofthe image.
