Résumé
The next investigation is to find the relationship between personal and organizational variables, with the stress measured in two ways: a subjective (through a specific question) and through the Diary Stressors Questionnaire. As dependent variables were used organizational measures, burnout, personality, coping styles, social skills, and state-trait anxiety, all steps in a sample of 196 policemen. The results are divided into three sections: one about the variablesthat relate to the subjective perception of stress, on the other about variables that relate to the objective measure of stress, and finally summarizes those variables common to both types of measure of stress in policing.
