Résumé
Congenital optic disc pits are a rare anomaly. About two-thirds of patients may develop a serous detachment of the macula. Both its pathogenesis and the mainstay treatment remain uncertain. In this article, we collect the contemporary theories about the origin of the subretinal fluid as well as the different therapeutic modalities proposed and the results obtained with each treatment.
