Abstract
Objective: To describe OCT-angiography systems capability to generate automatic wide field images. Material and Methods: A review of the technical characteristics of commercially available OCT-A systems based on manufacturer’s information was performed. Results: Wide field automatic OCT-A images are only available in two systems: Avanti (Optovue, Fremont, CA, EEUU) and RS-3000 Advance (Nidek Co, Aichi, Japón). They generate 12 x 6 mm and 12 x 9 mm images respectively. Conclusion: Nowadays, commercially available systems make it possible to deal with widefield limitation, and it should be prioritised when assessing the characteristics of an OCT-A system
