Abstract
The neonatal screening program in the Canary Islands has developed significantly in the last two years, making it necessary to update and develop the different stages of neonatal screening, including the development of informed consent that includes genetic testing. Clinical follow-up units are fundamental pieces in the management of patients with positive screening.
