Zusammenfassung
Radio is an alternative to the formal education system that allows for many educational possibilities. Radio ECCA was the first institution that taught distance education in Spain. It was created in 1965 in the Canary Islands and since then it has been a non-profit organization dedicated to adult education.It has been filling a role in the national and international scenario, byexpanding its activity in three continents. Its broadcast is accomplished thanks to various development and cooperation projects in Africa and the Americas.
