Abstract
Faced with the mercantilism of trade publishers, some French small presses have opted to offer readers new poetry forms and contents that fit with the contemporary social context, and reveal discursive alternatives to reality. This essay focuses on an analytical historiography of some publications of the innovative American poets in France, and how some French publishers’ policy aligns itself with those poets’ poetics
