Abstract

The Theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI), work by Howard Gardner, mainly pretends to enlarge the area of mental operation which is called “intelligence”. Gardner, through his theory, states that exits a broad scope of at least seven different kinds of intelligence and not just one and unique type of intelligence that proves to be essential for success in live. According to his theory, all individuals possess at least, in different degrees, seven areas of intelligence, which work in a relatively independent way. They are the following: verbal capacities, logical-mathematical capacities, spatial capacities, kinesthesic talent, musical aptitudes, interpersonal intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence. In this article we will show some activities that can help to find and develop the logical-mathematical and the spatial intelligences in the classes of Primary Education.
