Resumen
ABSTRACT: !e in"uence of spherical aberration (SA) on presbyopia symptoms is not su#ciently well known, although there is growing interest due to its potential applications during laser corneal surgery in patients with presbyopia. !is update/review aims to describe and clarify the positive and negative e$ects of SA on presbyopia and its relation to corneal asphericity (Q factor) so that, by customizing it during surgery, symptoms can be improved.
