Se trata de un grupo interdisciplinar (Antropología, Arquitectura, Derecho, Economía, Empresariales, Geografía, Ingeniería de la Construcción, Sociología), dedicado, entre otros, al análisis del impacto de las políticas públicas de planificación y gestión de áreas turísticas, así como a la elaboración de programas, planes y proyectos de renovación (física, funcional, de modelos de negocios, de productos, etc.) de destinos turísticos maduros.
