Research Interests: The main areas of my research include: interdisciplinary interfacial chemistry, and focus on green analytical chemistry, sampling, sample pretreatment, chemical separation and synthesis of new and environmentally friendly solvents and sorbents with a special emphasis placed on development of novel microextraction techniques for pre-concentration of the trace analytes from complex matrices (e.g., biological fluids, pharmaceutical and environmental systems) and their assaying by using chromatographic systems and spectroscopic methods.
