I’m a PhD candidate in Economics with extensive experience in development and health economics at the University of La Laguna under the supervision of Gustavo Marrero and Carlos Bethencourt. I hold a M.Sc. in International Economics and another in Economics, Mathematics and Econometrics from the University of Yaoundé 2 in Cameroon. My current research aims at assessing the health-development dynamics in developing countries. With my supervisors, we construct and use a synthetic index called MaPI (Malaria Policy Index) to assess the effectiveness of antimalarial policies on malaria mortality and prevalence in Sub-Saharan Africa.
