Dr. Inocencio R. Martín is Full Professor at the Department of Physics at the University of La Laguna, Spain. He achieved his Ph.D. in1996 from the University of La Laguna. He is a member of the Laser Spectroscopy and High Pressure group and his research interests cover the optical characterization of glasses, crystals and nanocrystalline glass-ceramics doped with optically active ions. He has over 260 publications in peer reviewed journals indexed in Journal Citation Reports. Currently He is involved in optical characterization of nanoparticles and microspheres doped with rare-earth ions and their applications as optical sensors. - Periods of research activity evaluated positively (sexenios) 4 (1993-1998, 1999-2005, 2006-2011, 2012-2017) - Supervised Thesis: 5 (3 Doctoral Prizes) - Total citations: > 6000 citas (Web of Science) - Average of citations/year in the last 5 years: 120 (Web of Science) - Number of papers: 268 (Web of Science) - Papers in first quartil (Q1): > 130 (Web of Science) - H index: 44 (Web of Science) - Number of communications in conferences: > 180 - Supervision as Referee in the following Journals: ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, ACS Applied Nanomaterials, Advanced Optical Materials, Advanced Materials, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Ceramics International, Chemical Engineering Journal, Chemical Physics Letters, Chemosensors, Inorganic Chemistry Communications, International Journal of Nanomanufacturing, ISRN Spectroscopy, Journal of the Optical Society of America B, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Journal of Applied Physics, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, Journal of Luminescence, Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, Journal of Physics B: Atom., Mol. and Opt.
