Raúl González Martín was born in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain, in 1996. He has completed the Degree in Chemistry at University of La Laguna (ULL) in 2018, granted by the Spanish Ministry of Education with a Research Collaboration Fellowship. He has obtained the Master Degree in Chemistry in 2019, being awarded with the Best Final Master Project of Sciences at ULL. He is currently a PhD student in the Doctoral Program of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at University of La Laguna under the supervision of Dr. Verónica Pino (Department of Analytical Chemistry, ULL) and Dr. David Díaz (Department of Organic Chemistry, ULL). He has been granted with a FPU predoctoral contract by the Spanish Ministry of Universities to complete his Doctoral Thesis. Up to date, he has written 2 research articles and 2 review articles and he has presented 2 communications in international meetings. His research interests include the design, synthesis and use of polymers and other materials in analytical sample preparation methods.
