One of the principles on which the current Spanish educational legislation is based is the normalization and inclusion in the system of persons with disabilities. In recent years, there has been an increase in the enrollment of this group in higher education. For this reason, it is necessary to plan actions aimed at the formation of the university community that favor the knowledge and right ways in the interaction with these people. Within this context and in order to promote positive attitudes towards the inclusion of people with disabilities, this training initiative emerges for teaching and research staff (PDI) and administration and service personnel (PAS). Specifically, it is intended to offer university staff an initial training offer on the knowledge of the potentialities and limitations of people with disabilities, as well as the basic norms of treatment that mainly facilitate their integration and, consequently, their learning processes. For this training offer, a virtual learning environment (VLE) was designed, using the Moodle platform, with a 15-hour duration course, distributed in 5 training lessons. In each one, the study material, resources and instruments are presented, designed ad hoc, for the external and internal evaluation of the program. In addition, the course has a video presentation and general information on the objectives, content, methodology and evaluation criteria of the course. Before the implementation of this training, and in order to give continuity to this innovation proposal, is being carried out the validation of the course design.
