Résumé

This investigation analyses the perceptions which, regarding the relation between the use of ICTs and the level of organisational and pedagogical autonomy, management teams and teacher coordinating bodies have in high schools in the multicultural context of the autonomous city  of Melilla. It has been used a mixed methodology. In the quantitative research we have worked with an invited sample (population) of 181 teachers, which 164 (90,60%) have accepted collaborating in the study, but finally have answered 145 (80,11%). The research has been completed with 8 semi-structured interviews to teachers who are in management teams and to educational projects coordinators. The results suggest that both management teams as well as didactic coordinating bodies use ICTs in an organisational level, while at a pedagogical level, the use of ICTs does not give a greater autonomy to the high schools in the autonomous city of Melilla. In this research, we depart from the principles that the LOMCE conclude on the necessity of encouraging the innovation and driving the educational centers’ autonomy as referents for the overall improvement of them.
