Abstract

The abundance of digital and educational applications are increasingly present in educational settings and why not consider the use of mobile devices also as part of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. We share and educational experience through the application Seesaw class, which makes possible the creation of digital portfolios by all students in the classroom. The way we use this application makes each one be actively part by creating and sharing contents, while they instantly may see what other students publish into their posts. This initiative has been developed by students of the Master´s Degree in Teaching in Secondary Education, major in Drawing, Design and Fine Arts at the University of La Laguna. Our goal consists on teaching to our students who are going to be teachers, methodological strategies using m-learning that they will be able to implement in their future teaching practice. The development of educational spaces through mobile applications offers new ways of teaching that multiply the educational possibilities of space and time. Both, the classroom as a physical space and Seesaw as the virtual space are managed as the same time during our teaching practice, which allows us to personalize the learning of each student and make possible to get an active and real participation of every students.
