Resumen

Relationships to and from the Canary Islands to the American continent have been and are responsible not only phonetic matching, lexical, syntactic and semantic, but also a shared world view, with the Spanish language as the main vehicle. This article analyzes the canary lexicon on the voices of animals and, where appropriate, to the voices that man employs in dealing with them as a sign of a worldview shared by the Canaries and the American continent.
