Resumen

The analysis aims to know the places that frequent during his spare time young people between 15 and 20 years of age in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as well as establish the reasons that determine the choice and the forms of use and appropriation of such spaces. This exploration is based, on one side, the responses made by the students of two schools in the city to a questionnaire regarding their spaces preferred meeting and leisure and, secondly, in the opinions, experiences and perceptions which provided the boys and girls from both centers in the group interviews that were conducted for the purpose.
