The importance of the figure of the teacher remains unquestionable. Undoubtedly, the teacher holds preeminently a protagonist role in the school setting. The temporal space in which the teacher acts in every socio-historic context has been decisive for his/her professional planning. The magisterial model of the traditional school 'magister-focus' pattern gave way to a 'student-focus' pattern so as to change the teacher figure essentially
