Abstract

Objective. To describe the frequency of appearance of a group of NANDA psychosocial diagnoses on the whole of computerized health histories with nursing diagnoses. Design. Cross-sectional study realized by means of information of computerized health histories in June, 2008. Setting. Health Areas of Tenerife and La Palma. Material and method. Universe: All the health histories computerized from the Areas to study. It shows: All the health histories computerized with nursing diagnoses. The procedure consisted of analyzing the frequency of 39 diagnoses on the whole of the sample. In addition, the studied diagnoses gathered in crowds for classes of the psychosocial domain. Principal results: The most frequent NANDA psychosocial labels were: ineffective maintenance of the health (5,6 %), anxiety (3,6 %) and ineffective managing of the therapeutic plan (1,5 %). On having grouped them for classes, we have like the classes more frequent conduct and emotionally and as the least frequent the classes autoperception and confrontation. Conclusions. There exists an important deficit of NANDA psychosocial diagnoses registered in health-computerized histories of primary care.
