Resum

This work shows the evolution of the iconography of some Saints who had in common be Kings or Princes and been linked to the Franciscan order. All lived between 13th and 14th centuries; however, since the 16th century their lives and works began to have a new interest to be used for the best defense of the ideology of the Ancien Régime. Visual knowledge of the iconography of these saints allows us a meditation on change of meaning that suffered the art from the Middle Age until the times of the Baroque
