Abstract

The data reflected in this article are part of the Study about Women Prostitution in Canary Islands, funded by the Canary Islands Equality Institute and carried out by the University of La Laguna. It is a research project that has analyzed the opinions of women in prostitution, the plaintiffs, the professionals who intervene directly or indirectly in the phenomenon and the perceptions of citizenship. The information reflected here comes from the results of the survey conducted on people living in the Canary Islands to know their perceptions and opinions about the prostitution of women.
