Abstract

The Mexican press offices as relevant within public institutions have made the leap to the Internet with online newsrooms across the board for almost a decade. This speaks to the corporate communications professionals have understood the importance of the Internet as a communication tool, but it is in how the index of integration of traditional cabinets in the network. This study performs an exploratory approach to the analysis of the newsrooms of the Mexican federal government agencies. Was raised to do so, the aim of providing a first approximation describing the state of affairs of these spaces and it was found that the degree of maturity depending on the units is uneven, from newsrooms with minimal integration possibilities Internet to others with understanding and using the tools of high maturity.
