Presencia de Bombus (Megabombus) ruderatus en Canarias

Zusammenfassung
A bumblebee recently sighted in the Canaiy Islands and different to the endemic Bombus canariensis is now identified as Bombus ruderatus. A field sampling around Tenerife was done to check the actual distribution of this species on the island. It was found in 18 out of the 88 visited localities, being its distribution oxerlapping with that of B. canariensis. The possible ways of introduction and dispersal mechanisms are here discussed. Additionally, the problems deri\ed from its introduction in other countries are revised and argued as probably affecting also to the Canary Islands.
